James Irving
A local blues, R&B and gospel singer and musician, James
Irving was nicknamed
"Spud."

Buster Morrison
A well-known blues musician from Paducah, Buster Morrison
was a guitar player
who played with B. B. King. Until he learned
that Mr. King fancied his wife,
Roberta Young Morrison.

R. Q. Dickerson II
Born in Paducah, R. Q. Dickerson was a well known jazz trumpeter
who played
with the Cab Calloway band. He was featured in
Calloway's hit song Minnie the
Moocher.

Fate Marable
Born in Paducah, Fate Marable was known to have a band
made up of the finest
jazz musicians of that time. He discovered
Louis Armstrong.
